ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Jawad Rafique Malik, a BS-22 officer, was appointed as Punjab chief secretary on Thursday. The Establishment Division has issued a notification in this regard. The decision to transfer Maj (retd) Azam Suleman was made during a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar. Moreover, the outgoing chief secretary Maj (retd) Azam Suleman has been asked to report to the Establishment Division. Jawwad Rafique Malik belongs to the Pakistan Administrative Services. He has also served as the seceratry communication. He was promoted to the rank of the federal secretary in 2017. He has also served as National Assembly secretary, Punjab Health secretary and Lahore commissioner.
