Jazba Foundation distributes sewing machines among 52 deserving women

LAHORE (92 News) – Former governor Khalid Maqbool’s Jazba Foundation, a welfare organization, distributed sewing machines and beauty parlour items among 52 deserving women on Wednesday.

The technical items have been distributed with an aim to enable the poor women to start their businesses.

Jazaba Foundation has been working for the welfare of women for the last eight years.

Pakistan’s 52 percent population comprises of women. If these women are economically independent they will not only support their family but also cause a good impact on the economy.

Speaking on the occasion, Jazba Foundation president Lt Gen (retd) Khalid Maqbool said that the objective of his organization to make women an active citizen of the society.

Recipients of the items expressed their happiness and said that they will be able to start their business with the technical items.

Jazba Foundation will distribute technical items and cash among more 150 women so that they could start their business.
