LAHORE (92 News) – Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Sirajul Haq has demanded withdrawal of an increase in the prices of medicines. Talking to the media at Mansoora on Saturday, he said that the people were worried about the prices of medicines. “Where will be the common man if inflation, unemployment and unrest increased?” he questioned. The JI ameer said that it was stated that billions of dollars will be brought to the country, but the government could not brought a single rupee in six months. “It is pity the rulers had betrayed the ideas and geography during the last 71 years,” he said. He said that there should be a uniform syllabus. “Educational institutions have been divided between the poor and the rich,” he maintained. Sirajul Haq said that only people are changed, not the system, in the elections. “Corruption is a big hurdle in the progress of the country. The government has not started real accountability yet,” he said.
