JI files petition seeking PM’s appearance in SC

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has on Tuesday filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s appearance in the court. The JI counsel Tauseef Asif stated in its petition that the fingers are being raised towards the prime minister and his family in Panamagate case. The petitioner said that the only Nawaz Sharif can correctly tell regarding the money transferred abroad so the prime minister should be summoned the court. The applicant further said that the there was difference between the premier’s speech in the parliament and the Qatari Prince’s letter presented in the court.
