JI Majlis-e-Shoora rejects resignation of Sirajul Haq

LAHORE (92 News) - The Jamaat-e-Islami Majlis-e-Shoora on Saturday rejected the resignation of Sirajul Haq.

JI spokesperson Qaisar Sharif said that the Majlis-e-Shoora had expressed its complete confidence in the leadership of JI ameer Sirajul Haq.

He said that Sirajul Haq had returned to his post and he will shortly address the Central Majlis-e-Shoora. "The JI lost the elections due to rigging, not due to failure of the JI ameer. We reject the election results," he added.

He demanded the chief election commissioner should resign immediately.
