JIT completes probe into Intizar murder case

KARACHI (92 News) – The joint investigation team completed the probe into the Intizar murder case on Saturday. The report bearing the signatures of Additional IG CTD Sanaullah Abbasi has been sent to Interior Ministry besides submitting it to the court. Sources said that the report has recommended departmental action against SSP Muqadas Haider, saying that there was no evidence against the officer who had not followed the SOPs. It also recommended another case against the policemen involved in the incident. The report also recommended action against the people involved in peddling ice drug among young girls and boys. According to the JIT, the same group provided drugs to Madiha Kayani and her friends. The incident has exposed the incompetence of the police.
