ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Ch Nisar has said that a joint investigation team has been formed to interrogate the accused involved in the Imran Farooq murder case. Meanwhile, a two-member team of the London police will reach Pakistan to investigate the accused next week. 92 News had aired the news about the arrival of Metropolitan Police three days ago. Talking to the media outside the Parliament House on Tuesday, he said that the Imran Farooq murder case should not be linked to the MQM. He said that the man wanted by Britain in the case was arrested from Karachi two months ago and in the first phase, the Metropolitan Police will interrogate him. The minister said that the accused arrested from Chaman are being interrogated. To a question, he said that the explanations after Zardari’s statements were a big joke. “The former president should not have made such speech. If he has made it, he should stand by it,” he said. He said that former president’s speech has not affected the civil-military relations. To a question about Ayyan Ali, Ch Nisar said that her case was not related to his ministry. He, however, said that he would meet the finance minister with regard to the Ayyan Ali's FBR case.
