JIT report on train accident near Wazirabad to be made public soon: Saad Rafique

LAHORE (92 News) - Federal Minsiter for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that the joint investigation report on the train accident that left more than 18 soldiers dead will be issued soon. Speaking at a news conference on Monday, the minister said that the report would throw light over the real cause of the accident. He said that the Railways has launched an extensive Special Eid Operation this year as compared to the past. "A huge reduction of fifty percent fares of special trains has been announced on 14th, 15th and 16th of this month to facilitate public on the eve of Eid ul Fitr," he said. "Pakistan Railways has enhanced its income at record level, while controlled its expenditures in recent years due to government successful measures."
