KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi termed that the PTI has joined hands with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) due to compulsion rather than the choice. Speaking to the journalists, Naqvi said that the joining hands with the PTI was a necessity and compulsion. He elaborated that the PTI does not want to stand in a one platform with those who are involved into the crimes. PTI Chairman Imran Khan expressed anger on the statement of Firdous Naqvi and declared his statement as irresponsible. The PTI chief sought explanation from Firdous Naqvi over his statement. The PTI leader’s remarks came two days after the MQM announced to give the PTI the required majority in the National Assembly for the election of Imran Khan as prime minister. Also, the two old foes signed an agreement for the formation of a new government. In response to President PTI Karachi Firdous Shamim Naqvi’s statement, MQM-P leader Faisal Sabzwari said that the cricketer-turned-politician could not become prime minister sans their back.
