Joint opposition all set to table no-confidence motion in AJK

MUZAFFARABAD (92 News) - The joint opposition is all set to table a no-confidence motion in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

According to sources, severe differences have emerged within the PTI parliamentary party. As a result, Finance Minister Majid Khan and Education Minister Dewan Chughtai have decided to resign.

The sources said that both ministers had decided to resign over giving the charge of the CBR chairman to Faheem Abbasi, a retired police officer.

On Sunday, Parliamentary Secretary Asim Sharif had tendered his resignation.

Meanwhile, AJK PML-N president Shah Ghulam Qadir called on PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif in London. During the meeting, he discussed the strategy to bring a no-confidence motion.

They also discussed overall political situation in the country. Shah Ghulam Qadir presented the recommendations of the party parliamentary leadership to Nawaz Sharif.
