Joint opposition finalizes future strategy after toppling government

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The joint opposition has finalized the future strategy after toppling the government.

The strategy was finalized by PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif, PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari and PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman, while Shehbaz Sharif, Bilawal, Akhtar Mengal and Mahmood Achakzai were also taken into confidence in this regard.

According to sources, the three big parties have decided to advance phase-wise. It has been proposed to give representation to the PDM parties in the new government.

Soon after forming the new government, legislation will be made on important issues, including electoral reforms. Moreover, legislation will also be made with regard to lifetime disqualification. A requisition will be submitted to summon a session of the National Assembly on Monday or Tuesday.

According to the finalized strategy, the next target will be the Senate chairman after success of the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan and Speaker Asad Qaisar.

Moreover, the opposition has also settled the matters to send the Punjab government home. The name of the new chief minister will be disclosed at an appropriate time. In the wake of the success of the no-confidence motion, the elections will be conducted in 2-3 months.

According to sources, the opposition leaders have decided to give the premiership to the PML-N.
