Journalist murder case: Main accused surrenders to CIA

LAHORE (92 News) – The main accused of the journalist Hassnain Shah murder case has surrendered to the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA).

Sources in the CIA said they have arrested three accused in the murde case. A jewellar group, who had a dispute with the slain Hassnain Shah, was involved in the murder. In his statement, the main accused Amir Butt told the police he had no link with the murder.

Hasnain Shah was shot dead outside Lahore Press Club on January 24. Ten bullets hit his chest and neck, killing him on the spot.

Hasnain Shah was a resident of Madina Colony, Baghbanpure Lahore. He is survived by two children and a widow.
