Journey to end terrorism will continue: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has on Tuesday said that the journey to end terrorism will continue till it is fully eliminated.

Addressing the oath taking ceremony of newly elected office bearers of Pakistan Association of Tour operators in Islamabad, she said that everyone will have to play constructive role to bring change in the country.

The minister said that the people of Pakistan have courageously fought against the menace of terrorism.

Marriyum Aurangzeb went on to say that the 18th amendment is a reality and under the amendment the subject of tourism has been devolved to the federating units. However, the federal government can give the policy guidelines on the matter.

The minister said domestic tourism has improved over the last four years in the country due to better security situation and described it a positive development saying it will also restore the confidence of international tourists.
