Judicial commission summons PTI witnesses on May 6
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The judicial commission probing the rigging in 2013 general elections has asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) witnesses to testify in court on May 6.
The Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) also pleaded before the JC to reopen the ballot boxes for recounting of votes today.
Earlier, the PTI submitted reply before the judicial commission stating that rigging was the brainchild of the political cell of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and was in on the rigging. Also, the PTI alleged other political parties of being involved in rigging as the election was rigged on both national and provincial seats.
Justice Ameer Hani Muslim and Justice Ejaz Afzal under the supervision of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Nasirul Mulk constitute the Judicial Commission probing election rigging.
