JUI-F devises strategy to make successful its ‘Plan B’
QUETTA/KARACHI (92 News) – The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) devised a strategy to make successful its ‘Plan B’ as protesters on Friday continued to block major highways parts of the country as part of the party’s ‘Plan B’.
According to the reports, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has decided to visit all the sit-in places in parts of the country. Today, Maulana Fazlur Rehman will visit the Nowshera and Malakand.
Meanwhile, the JUI-F is continuing to block highways and stage sit-ins in parts of Pakistan including Karachi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) following Plan B of Azadi March.
JUI-F’s sit-in has entered second day on the Hub River Road in Karachi and people are facing trouble as traffic between Sindh and Balochistan has partially been suspended.
The protesters set up tents on Ghotki National Highway after it started raining. Traffic is halted on the Indus Highway in Taunsa Sharif and Bannu. Nowshera GT Road has been closed in Hakimabad.
JUI-F workers have closed Shahrah-e-Resham in Mansehra and staged sit-in in Lower Dir at the Pul Chowki Chakdara. Quetta-Karachi and Quetta-DG Khan Highways have also been blocked.
Earlier on Nov 14, the JUI-F started to implement its Plan B of Azadi March on Thursday by blocking major roads across the country.
According to details, JUI-F initiated to block highways in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. The workers have started to arrive in Nowshera from Mardan, Charsadda and Peshawar.
A road has been blocked in Hakimabad, where a large contingent of police is also present. Additionally, JUI-F workers have closed Indus Highway in Bannu. A party worker said cars will only be allowed to pass through in the case of an emergency, adding that the road has been shut indefinitely.
