JUI-F oppose extension in military courts: Fazlur Rehman

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has on Sunday opposed the extension in period of military courts. Addressing the party’s Majlis-e-Shura meeting in Islamabad, he said that the extension in the periods of military courts is will be mistrust on the civil courts. The JUI-F chief said that any amendment in blasphemy law is not accepted, adding that they do not accept the preferences of America and western countries. Fazlur Rehman went on to say that they are not in favor of merging Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa because it is the people’s will. He said: “Kashmir Solidarity Day will be observed with fervor on February 5 and give the entire world a message that Pakistan stands against Indian occupation of held-Kashmir.”
