JUI secretary information Hafiz Hussain Ahmed removed for opposing PDM narrative

Meanwhile, Aslam Ghauri has been appointed in his place. A committee has been formed to decide on the party membership of Hafiz Hussain Ahmed.

Sources said that Hafiz Hussain Ahmed's criticism of Nawaz Sharif and the PDM was his personal opinion.

Maulana Abdul Wasay confirmed that the action against the senior leader was decided during a meeting of the Majlis-e-Shoora.

Hafiz Hussain Ahmed had termed Nawaz Sharif a snake in the grass and said that Maulana Fazalur Rehman was supporting the narrative of Nawaz Sharif against the party policy.

Sahibzada Hafiz Zubair said that the party leadership had not issued a show-cause notice to his father Hafiz Hussain Ahmed. He said that it was not JUI policy to impose the narrative of Nawaz Sharif on the entire PDM.

Hafiz Hussain Ahmed had joined the Jamiat Talba Islam in 1973 and he was granted the basic membership by Mufti Mahmood, father of Maulana Fazalur Rehman. He was twice elected MNA and senator once.
