Jumadi-us-Sani moon sighted, 1st of Jumadi-us-Sani tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Jumadi-us-Sani moon has been sighted and the 1st of Jumadi-us-Sani 1442AH will be on Friday (January 15).

This was announced by Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad during a press conference on Thursday.

The moon was sighted in several areas, including Gwadar. Representatives of the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), Meteorological Department and other responsible officers also participated in the meeting.

Meanwhile, meetings of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees were also held to assist the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee in Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar and Karachi.
