Junaid Jamshed’s body shifted to Karachi by PAF plane, funeral today

KARACHI (92 News) – The body of renowned naat khawan Junaid Jamshed was shifted to Karachi by PAF plane from Islamabad on Wednesday. The body was later shifted to PNS Shifa. His funeral will be held at Moeen Khan Academy at 1pm on Thursday. Maulana Tariq Jameel will lead his funeral. Later, he will be buried in Darul Aloom, Karachi. A large number of people visited his house to offer their condolences. His wife Nahya Junaid will be buried in Askari X, Lahore on Thursday. Earlier, his funeral was held at Nur Khan Airbase. Air Chief Sohail Aman and several PAF, Army and Navy officers attended the funeral. A smartly-turned contingent of PAF saluted his body. Later, a plane (C-130) carrying his body left for Karachi.
