JUP backs PTI candidate for NA-246 by-poll

KARACH – The Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) on Monday announced its support for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Imran Ismail for the by-poll in NA-246, scheduled to be held on April 23. Talking to media at his residence, JUP leader Owais Noorani said peace will not be restored in the province until Governor Sindh is running the affairs. He announced full support for PTI’s candidate and said Imran Ismail will prove to be a beacon of light for Karachi. Noorani said his party has a lot of support in NA-246 constituency. He called upon voters of NA-246 to come out of their homes on April 23 and vote for the PTI.
