Justice Gulzar Ahmed sworn in as 27th Chief Justice of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Justice Gulzar Ahmed took the oath as 27th Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) during a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Saturday.  President Arif Alvi administer him the oath. Prime Minister Imran Khan, judges of apex courts, and heads of armed forces attended the oath-taking ceremony. Moreover, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar and federal ministers were also present on the occasion. He has replaced Asif Saeed Khosa who retired as Chief Justice of Pakistan on Friday.
