KARACHI (92 News) – Justice (retd) Fakharuddin G Ebrahimon, renowned lawmaker,  Tuesday laid to rest at Noor Bagh Mewa Shah. His funeral prayers were offered at Noor Bagh, Mewa Shah. He passed away in Karachi on Tuesday in the age of 92. He worked as the chief election commissioner from 2012 to 2013. He had also been the chief justice of the Sindh High Court before retiring as the Supreme Court judge. He also worked as the Sindh governor, attorney general and federal law minister. President, PM express sorrow over demise of Fakhruddin President Dr Arif Alvi has expressed his deep sorrow over the sad demise of Justice retired Fakhruddin G Ebrahim. In a statement, he said services of the late Fakhruddin G Ibrahim will be remembered for long. Prime Minister Imran Khan has also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of retired Justice Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim. In his condolence message, the Prime Minister said the services of Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim will always be remembered in the field of law and dispensation of justice. He also prayed for higher place of the deceased in jannah and granting fortitude to the bereaved family members. Law Minister Dr Farogh Naseem, Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed and other Judges of Supreme Court have also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Justice (Retd) Fakhruddin G Ibrahim. They extended their heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathies to members of the bereaved family of the departed soul. They prayed Almighty Allah to keep the departed soul in peace and commiserated the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. The law minister also telephoned to his son (rtd) Justice Tufail Ibrahim and expressed condolence on the death of his father.
