Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal, son of national poet Allama Iqbal, passes away

LAHORE (92 News) – Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal, the son of national poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal, passed away after a prolonged illness in Lahore on Saturday. He was 91. Javed Iqbal remained the Lahore High Court Chief Justice and a judge of the Supreme Court. President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal. His funeral prayers will be held at 4pm.
