Justice Saqib Nisar vows to shun any pressure

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, who is going to be the next Chief Justice of Pakistan, expressed resolve to shun any pressure on the judiciary. Addressing a ceremony at Lahore Bar on Saturday, Justice Nisar said, “I promise that I will not come under pressure of any sort. We would not become a victim of someone’s purpose or interest.” He said that the judiciary will function without any fear. “Short cuts only give a timely benefit, they don’t lead one towards the destination,” he said.
