K-Electric asks NEPRA to increase power tariff by Rs 6.31 per unit

KARACHI (92 News) – The K-Electric has submitted an application to the National Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) seeking an Rs 6.31 per unit increase in the power tariff.

The NEPRA will hear the application on June 15.

On the other hand, the federal government has provided additional electricity of 200 megawatts.

Federal Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar said that Karachi was already being provided an additional electricity of 350 megawatts.
