K-Electric asks NEPRA to increase power tariff by Rs3.45 per unit

KARACHI (92 News) – K-Electric has sent a summary to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), asking to increase the power tariff by Rs3.45 under the head of the fuel price adjustment.

According to a report, the NEPRA will conduct hearing on the request to the increase the electricity price on November 3.

In the wake of the increase, consumers will have to bear an extra burden of sRs6.64 billion.

Meanwhile, the NEPRA has completed public hearing to give a subsidy to consumers belonging to Distribution Companies (DISCOs) and K-Electric.
