Kabbadi World Cup 2020: Australia beat Azerbaijan
LAHORE (92 News) – Australia easily beat Azerbaijan by 53 to 24 points in a match during the third day of Kabbadi World Cup 2020 in Lahore.
Three matches played on the third day of Kabaddi World Cup 2020 on Tuesday. In the first match started at 3:30pm, Australian raiders and stoppers took control of the match right from the beginning and did not give their opponents any room to settle down. The Azerbaijan team tried their best but they could accumulate only 24 points.
While the second match played between England and Germany at 4:45pm. Germany defeated the England by 49 to 28 points in a second match.
Sierra Leone locked horns with India in the third match at 6:00pm. India continuously won the match and beat Sierra Leone by 27 points. India got 45 points while Sierra Leone secured only 18 points.
On the occasion of World Cup 2002, Provincial Minister for Sports Rai Taimoor Bhatti said that the players are satisfied from the security. He also advised that they should ignore the Indian media regarding the World Cup.
However, the group stage phase of the Kabbadi World Cup 2020 ended in Lahore on third day. Now, the matches will be played in Faisalabad on Wednesday and Thursday. In February 14, the stage of world cup will be demonstrated in Gujranwala.
