ISLAMABAD (92 News) – DG ISPR Lt-Gen Asim Bajwa has said that the arrest of Indian RAW agent Kalbhushan is a big success. Addressing the joint press conference with Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, he said that the officer of the Lt-Col rank was active to sabotage the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project in Balochistan. “The credit of the arrest of Kalbhushan goes to intelligence agencies. It is a rare chance that a serving military officer of a country is arrested,” he maintained. The DG ISPR said that they had raised the issue of RAW involvement with Iranian President Dr Hassan Rouhani. “We have conveyed the Pakistan stance to Iran with tolerance. We requested Iran not to let its soil to be used against Pakistan,” he said. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said that Pakistan had fulfilled its responsibility. “The prime minister knows the national responsibilities. Operations are launched on the pointation of intelligence agencies and the provincial governments determine that how much force should be used for how much extent,” he maintained. To a question about calling the army for the operation in Punjab, the minister ended the press conference.
