KARACHI (92 News) - A five-year-old boy died after he fell into an open manhole and drowned in sewerage water in KDA Employees Housing Society in Korangi early on Saturday. Muhammad Bilal went outside home while playing and fell into the nearby manhole. The victim's launched search for the child after he was found disappeared on Friday evening. Rescues were called to the locality after locals spotted the body of child in a manhole in late hours. The body was retrieved and shifted to the city's mortuary for legal formalities. Bilal's father Hbaib Ullah blamed poor sewerage and open manholes for their kid's death. He alleged that the Karachi Water Board and senior officials were conveyed several times about negligent attitude of the officials but to no avail.
