Karachi: Brawl between two groups leaves one dead at Sea View Beach

KARACHI (92 News) - One person was killed and two others were injured after a clash erupted between the members of two contractor groups at Sea View Beach on late Sunday.

Police said an exchange of arguments broke out between parking stand contractor and carts operating contractor that led to a physical scuffle.

Cart-pusher Moosa, his father Haji Umar and their fellow Ahmad suffered wounds after parking stand contractor and his accomplices attacked them with sharp-edged weapons and clubs.

Police responded to an emergency call and took control over the situation.

The injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital where Moosa succumbed to his wounds.

Six suspects were taken into custody by police who launched detailed investigation into the incident.

According to police, the parking contractor apparently stopped carts-pushers from parking their carts that led to brawl.

In another incident, a man, not yet identified, was shot dead in 14-B Shadman Sector. Police are investigating the incident.
