Karachi City Council's first meeting ends in rumpus

KARACHI (92 News) - The first meeting of the Karachi City Council ended in rumpus on Monday.

During the session, the members belonging to the PPP and the Jamaat-e-Islami scuffled with each other and chanted slogans against each other.

The microphone was turned off during the speech of Hafiz Naeem.

Reacting to the rumpus, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab said that the JI should serve the people through Al-Khidmat. He asked Hafiz Naeem not to paralyse the House for his ego.
