Karachi incident proves that this is elders’ fights: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE (92 News) – Lashing out at Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan over Captain Safdar's arrest, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz said that children should not get involved in elders’ fights because Karachi incident proved that this is battle of elders.

While speaking to the journalists after attending the protesting rally of Baloch students in Lahore Mall Road on Friday, Maryam Nawaz said that the political opponents are afraid of former premier Nawaz Sharif, adding that where is Imran Khan? Now the government hid in Bani Gala.

The PML-N vice president said that Nawaz Sharif is riding on the heads of opponents. She claimed that the incumbent government will be ended before January. "Without Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab is orphan today," she added.

She further demanded the government to listen to the problems of students who are protesting on Lahore’s Mall Road. "Pakistan's future is on the road, scholarships for Baloch students should be restored immediately," She maintained.

Commenting on her husband Captain Safdar 's arrest, she said that there is no need of inquiry into Captain (r) Safdar’s arrest from hotel room in Karachi as everything is clear. Maryam Nawaz said if required then the concerned authorities should openly investigate the issue and made the inquiry report public.

"Imran Khan has nothing to do with Karachi incident. This incident proved that this is battle of elders. Children should not get involved in elders’ fights because," Maryam Nawaz said.
