KARACHI (92 News) – Karachi Kings defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 10 runs in the second match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season Five at National Stadium, Karachi on Friday. Chasing the mammoth target of 202 runs, Peshawar Zalmi could score 191 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. LS Livingstone hit 54 runs with the help of two fours and three sixes. Kamran Akmal scored 43 runs. La Dawson (22), DIG Sammy (30) and Shoaib Malik (16) were the main contributors. CJ Jordan and Umaid Asif bagged two wickets each, while Muhammad Amir and CS Delport got one wicket each. Batting first, Karachi Kings amassed 201 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Babar Azam smashed 78 runs off 56 balls aided by seven fours and two sixes. Imab Wasim made 50 runs with the help of three fours and as many sixes. CS Delport (20), Sharjeel Khan (19) and Iftikhar Ahmed were other main scorers. Hasan Ali grabbed two wickets while Mohammad Mohsin got one wicket. Babar Azam was declared the Player of the Match.
