SHC suspends notification handing over Bagh Ibne Qasim to Bahria Town

KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court has suspended the notification handing over Bagh Ibne Qasim to Bahria Town.

The court has also sought a reply from the parties until April 18.

Earlier on Monday, Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar challenged the contract signed between the Local Government Secretary and Bahria Town about the Bagh Ibne Qasim.

In a petition, Waseem Akhtar contended that how the Local Government secretary can give Bagh Ibne Qasim to the Bahria Town.

He said that the Sindh government’s decision about Bagh Ibne Qasim was unconstitutional.
