JAMSHORO (92 News) - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that the Karachi mayor will be from the Pakistan People's Party (PPP).

Addressing a ceremony on Tuesday, he said that the PPP is ready to jointly work with the Jamaat-e-Islami. "In 2018, it took three days to announce the results when the RTS collapsed. But the results of the local government elections have been announced within 24 hours," he added.

The Sindh chief minister said that he had written a letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) over the delimitation of the constituencies, but no one paid attention to him. "I made a contact with the MQM and convinced them to conduct the elections," he added.

He said that the ego of a man has been hurt by the defeat in Karachi. "It is being heard that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly is going to be dissolved, but there should be a reason behind the dissolution of the assembly," he maintained.
