KARACHI (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that a strike is observed in Karachi even if a fly dies and this factor has to be rectified. Addressing a ceremony to distribute awards among traders and industrialists on Friday, he said that the politics of strikes has to be stopped and new projects will start afterwards. The prime minister said that the Karachi operation should be taken to logical conclusion. He resolved to lay the network of motorways. “The country will progress if trade activities will increase,” he said. Nawaz Sharif said that the enemies are not tolerating Pak-China friendship. Earlier addressing a ceremony after laying the foundation stone of extension in the Hub oil refinery, he said that crimes could be more reduced if courts punish terrorists at the earliest. “We will make Karachi the City of Lights,” he said. The prime minister also announced to link the Karachi and Gwadar ports to Central Asian states. He said that loadshedding will be ended in three years, while price-hike will be reduced.
