Karachi police arrest alleged rapist of a girl found unconscious at beach

KARACHI (92 News) – Police have arrested a man for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl and throwing her in unconscious state along the beach on Monday. Accused identified as Ali Raza alias Ali Imran was taken into custody from Korangi area few hours after the recovery of the girl from the beach. Police are chasing the whereabouts of the suspect’s friend Kiran who absconded. Police investigations reveal that Kiran introduced her friend Sana to Ali Raza. On the day of the incident, the three took meal at a beach and Sana became unconscious afterwards. The accused took the victim to a house, sexually assaulted her and later threw her at the beach. Police managed to trace the suspect with the help of a cell phone locator. According to the police, the victim has identified the accused whom DNA test would be taken out to confirm the sexual assault.
