Karachi police arrest killer of journalist Athar Mateen

KARACHI (92 News) – The police arrested the killer of journalist Athar Mateen from Sindh-Balochistan Border on Saturday.

Talking to 92 News, Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani said that the killers will be brought to justice as per law.

He said that the criminal record of the accused Ashraf had been achieved. "Ashraf was arrested in the past and four cases were registered against him in different police stations of Karachi," he added.

The minister said that the gang used to snatch motorcycles from citizens and sold them out in Balochistan. "The accused has been arrested on the basis of CCTV footage and technical evidence," he added.

He appreciated the police for tracing and arresting the killer of the journalist.
