Karachi police releases security plan for Ramazan

KARACHI (92 News) – More than 12,000 police personnel will be deputed at the mosques during prayer timings to perform security duties as Karachi police have released security plan for the month of Ramazan. According to the security plan, as many as 2,800 police officers and personnel will perform duties in the East Zone for the protection of prayers, while 53 mobiles and 17 motorcycles will be patrolling the areas for snap checking. On the other hand, as many as 4,300 police officers and personnel will perform duties in the West Zone for the protection of mosques, while 20 mobiles and 50 motorcycles will be patrolling the areas for snap checking. Meanwhile, as many as 5,800 police officers and personnel will perform duties in the South Zone for the protection of mosques, while 52 mobiles and 70 motorcycles will be patrolling the areas for snap checking. Sindh IG AD Khawaja said that the security mechanism will be made foolproof to ensure safety of life and property of the people.
