Karachi roads submerged with water after heavy rain

KARACHI (92 News) - Heavy rain inundated most of the streets in Karachi on Sunday. According to the reports, the streets were submerged with water in the metropolis after heavy rain and with the flooding of low-lying areas, highways as well as streets have begun to look like drains and canals. The rain which started Sunday afternoon brought city life to a standstill. Rainwater inundated most parts of the city roads, which is causing problems for the masses. Nipa Chowrangi, Gurumandir Chowrangi, Shahrai-e-Faisal, Hassan Square are showing view of pond. Several four-wheels and motorbikes can be seen on the roads. Meanwhile, administration has become ghost from the major roads of the city and rainwater cannot be drained out.
