Karachiites are passing through a trial due to rains, says Shibli Faraz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information Shibli Faraz has said that the people are going through a trial due to rains in Karachi. Talking to the media on Monday, he said that all-possible cooperation is being provided to the Sindh government. "Our sympathies are with the Sindh government. The federal government considers Karachi as its own city above the political differences," he added. The minister said that the prime minister gets update about Karachi on daily basis. "Imran Khan does not use politics for his personal interests. The PM wants to eradicate poverty from the country," he added. He said that they had exposed the opposition which was seeking an NRO over the FATF. "The opposition will not hold the APC. If it is held, it will be symbolic," he added. Shibli Faraz said that the government is succeeding in each trial. "The opposition wants to fail the government. It is not interested in Pakistan. We cannot deny inflation and difficult time, but economy is improving," he added. He said that the prime minister would visit Karachi this week. "PM Imran Khan wants to give the relief to the people of Sindh," he added. Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that conditions will return to normalcy in few days. "We have to plan for the next year," he added.
