Karakoram Highway closed after heavy rains in Khyber

PESHAWAR (92 News) - Karakoram Highway has been closed following heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday.

Owing to floods, Achaar Bridge was washed away. The camps of the Chinese engineers working on the Dasu Dam was also affected by the floodwater.

In Mardan, three women died when the roof of their house collapsed. Ten people were killed when the roof of their house caved in Hajeera area, Kotli.

In Murree, the nullahs are in flood due to incessant rain after intervals. Roads were closed due to landslide in Darya Gali and Expressway. Locals feared that a mountain is sliding near Kali Mitti.
