Kashmir is a matter of nation’s survival, not related to politics: Firdous Ashiq Awan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Kashmir is a matter of the survival of the nation and not related to politics. Addressing the All Parties Kashmir Conference on Monday, she said that the nation is witnessing what is being done by the champions of politics for Kashmir. “We will have to unite all schools of thought to wipe out cruelty. Wars are started in passion, but there is need of consciousness to end them,” she maintained. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had courageously talked to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “There were no diplomatic ties with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) when the PTI assumed the power. Both countries saved both Pakistan from bankruptcy,” she said. She said that OIC declaration had demanded an end to curfew in India. “Owing to Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, the UN Security Council session was summoned on the request of Foreign Ministry,” he said. The special assistant said that today the Indian Supreme Court has destroyed the narrative of India. “The Indian Supreme Court is saying that conditions in Kashmir are not normal. There is a need to do a lot,” she said. She said that PM’s address to the United Nations would be historic. “The PM will visit the United Nations as the lawyer of the Kashmiris. The conference’s is declaration will be reflect the sentiments of the Kashmiris,” she maintained.

No supplementary grant approved during two months: Firdous

Earlier in a series of tweets on Monday, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said that no supplementary grant was approved during the two months. She said that the government has reduced its expenditures. “No supplementary grant was approved during the two months, and the government saved 246 billion rupees due to appreciation in the currency value during the last few weeks,” she explained.
