Kashmir issue can be resolved through dialogues: Sushma Swaraj

NEW DELHI (92 News) – Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has on said that the Kashmir issue can only be resolved through dialogues.

Talking to media in New Delhi on Tuesday, she said that Pakistan cannot take Kashmir issue to the International Court of Justice as was agreed in Simla Agreement and Lahore Declaration to find a solution, adding that Kashmir issue can only be resolved through dialogues.

She said that both the countries will have to resolve the issue bilaterally which is only possible through dialogues.

The minister said that India is ready for dialogue with Pakistan as long as no third country is involved as arbitrator.

Sushma Swaraj further ruled out any meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif when the two will be in Kazakhstan this week to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting.
