ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan has said that Kashmiris have never accepted Indian occupation since 1947. He was addressing the Kashmir Conference in Islamabad on Friday. “Kashmiris’ love for Pakistan is unlimited,” he said. The AJK president said that Kashmir is the most serious conflict in the world and international community should find out a solution of the dispute. “According to international media reports, over 6,000 people have been blinded with the use of pallet guns by the Indian occupation forces,” he said. Sardar Masood Khan lauded the positive role of Pakistan in highlighting the Kashmir issue and exposing Indian atrocities at international forums. He said the UN resolutions on the Kashmir issue are keystone documents for the right to self-determination of Kashmiris. Speaking on the occasion, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that Kashmiris have a bond of blood and soul with Pakistan and not that of land only. “Pakistan will continue to support Kahsmiris unless they receive their right.” The minister said that India sees the Kashmir issue from the perspective of territory only as it has no deep links with the area. He said India is becoming a laughing stock of the world due to its claims of a secular democracy while denying human rights to Kashmiris. The minister said that the whole world is looking at the excessive human rights abuses being perpetrated in occupied Kashmir. “The leadership of both Azad Kashmir and Occupied Kashmir are one in their stance that India is crushing the voice of freedom through oppression.” Fawad Chaudhry said that the current government is sincere in its Kashmir cause and Pakistan will continue its moral, diplomatic and political support to its Kashmiri brethren for the realization of their right to self-determination.
