Complete strike in IIOJ&K as Kashmiris observing India's Independence Day as Black Day
August 15, 2020
SRINAGAR (92 News) – Kashmiris on both sides of Line of Control and the world over are observing Indian Independence Day on Saturday, as Black Day to convey the message to international community that New Delhi continues to deny them their inalienable right to self-determination. A strike is being called in the occupied valley on the call of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. A year-long curfew and oppression and barbarism could not lessen the spirit of independence of unarmed Kashmiris. Like every year, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, August 15 is being celebrated as India's Independence Day. This is the second black day after the amendment of Article 370 and its sub-clause. Every wall of the occupied valley will be liberated. A year has passed. From August 5, 2019 to August 15, 2020, the voice of freedom and self-determination did not stop even for a moment in the Paradise Valley. Over the past year, 8 million Muslims have been kept in cages. Occupied Jammu and Kashmir has been turned into the world's largest jail. More than 1 lakh innocent and unarmed Kashmiris have been illegally detained. In Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, rape, violence, non-provision of basic necessities, illegal detention of children and women by the Indian Army are being used as weapons of state terrorism. For the last 7 decades, the oppression of Indian beasts has been going on in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. There is no house without a martyr. The third generation of Kashmiris is fighting against the occupying Indian army. Today the message will be given to the Modi government. Kashmiris are with Pakistan tomorrow and are with Pakistan today. It is no longer possible to suppress the voice of Kashmiris. With each passing day, Kashmiris are getting closer to their independence.
