Kasur tragedy: Autopsy confirms rape, strangulation of Zainab

LAHORE (92 News) – The autopsy report has confirmed that eight-year-old Zainab was raped and strangulated by the culprit(s). According to the report made public on Friday, the wrists of the innocent girl were also cut. On the other hand, the autopsy reports of two people killed by the police firing were also released. Meanwhile, the JIT visited the house of Zainab and interrogated her relatives. IGP Punjab Arif Nawaz also visited her house and expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family. He assured the family that the accused would be arrested soon. The provincial ministers and the Punjab Government spokesman said that peace has been restored in the city. They asked the politicians not to do politics on the issue.
