Kasur Tragedy: SC to take up suo moto case tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) will tomorrow (Tuesday) take up the suo moto case of rape and murder of minor seven-year-old Zainab in Kasur. A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and comprises of Justice Umer Atta Bandial and Justice Ijazul Hassan will resume hearing of the case. The CJP had taken notice of the incident and summoned a detailed report from the Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP). Punjab IGP had submitted a report in the top court.
