Khawaja Asif demands to place names of Hafeez Shaikh, Reza Baqir on ECL

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Khawaja Asif has demanded to place the names of Special Adviser to PM on Finance Abdul Hafeez Shaikh and SBP Governor Reza Baqir on the exit control list. Expressing his views in the National Assembly on Monday, he said that both above mentioned personalities have come to perform the final rites of the country’s economy. “These people will have to return to their masters. Hafeez Shaikh’s company has Indian partners,” he said. The PML-N leader said that the list of his party’s accountability is long. “Why is attention not being paid to the BRT, foreign funding, billion tree, Malam Jabba and sugar cases?” he questioned. He said that they would also chase them to the last extent if Nawaz Sharif can be disqualified in a false case. “The people involved in the sugar scandal are sitting in the cabinet of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Today nothing is cheaper than starvation, coronavirus and death,” he maintained. Khawaja Asif said that the PM cannot deny his word a prime minister is a thief when the price-hike goes up. “Rulers become coward when their love for power is unlimited,” he declared. He said that a majority of government employees is honest and dutiful. “The government should employees. The practice of refund after paying the tax should come to an end,” he said.
