Khawaja Asif laundered millions of rupees through a rice seller: Babar Awan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Adviser to the Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan said that PML-N leader Khawaja Asif had laundered millions of rupees through a rice seller.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the name of Ilyas Ibrahim had appeared several times in the offshore companies of Khawaja Asif.

He said that the PML-N leadership says the assets beyond income is not a crime. "If a person gets Rs 100,000 salary and his expenditures are Rs one million, then it is style of income beyond assets," he added.

Babar Awan said that Fazalur Rehman is asking others for resignations and why he is not asking his brother and son for resignations.
